Audits & Assessment Services

Dade Moeller offers on-site audits to help you prepare for Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) or Agreement State inspections. We conduct dozens of compliance audits and other assessments each year for commercial customers and regulated agencies. Our experienced staff can perform a complete audit of your radiation safety program, recommend corrections needed to achieve compliance, and provide helpful tips for surviving a regulatory inspection. Best of all our audits can be conducted “pre-enforcement” and can help you avoid violations in the future.

We also have extensive experience performing 10 CFR 835 triennial functional element assessments for DOE contractors. Our experienced staff can conduct gap analysis to compare your Radiation Protection Program against the requirements in 10 CFR 835, or against guidance in DOE implementation guides or the DOE Radiological Control Standard. We can verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and radiological control program enhancements, or even help you prepare for a visit from DOE Office of Enforcement.
