Dade Moeller is an industry leader in developing, assessing, and implementing occupational safety and industrial hygiene programs in the government and commercial nuclear sectors. Our expertise was developed through work performed for the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Safety Administration, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the Department of Defense, and nuclear power utilities. We have in–depth knowledge of the types of issues that have proven to be so critical to safe operations, including rigging and scaffolding; confined space entries; ergonomics; asbestos, beryllium, and lead; organic vapors; radon; and proper use of personal protection equipment. Recent work for the U.S. Department of Labor has further enhanced our awareness and sensitivity about areas that could become significant issues under future occupational and worker compensation programs, enabling us to remain proactive in support of our customers‘ safety and health interests.
Dade Moeller personnel are well-versed in the Integrated Safety Management Systems employed by DOE contractors and subcontractors. Staff members have been involved in development, pilot programs, and implementation of the systems in place, including the Job Hazard Analysis system and the Employee Job Task Analysis system. Members of our staff have been recognized by the DOE prime contractors for their practical and defensible approaches to design review, baseline hazard assessment, exposure assessment, execution of field work within controls, project completion, and development of formal Lessons Learned.
