In 2005, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) began gathering information, comments and suggestions from the public and the contractor community to improve future operations at the Hanford Central Plateau. The process led to the issuance in 2007 of a solicitation for a Mission Support Contract to assist DOE's Richland Operations Office and Office of River Protection with a range of infrastructure, security, health and safety, and facility management services. On September 3, 2008, DOE awarded its new contract to the Mission Support Alliance, LLC (MSA).
Dade Moeller & Associates is proud to have the opportunity to be a part of this historic effort. We have been asked by the MSA Team to provide subcontractor support in several key areas, including radiation safety, worker health, and public and environmental protection.
Those familiar with Dade Moeller & Associates will recognize these technical areas as core strengths of our Company, and appreciate that we have a proven record of providing these services at the Hanford site. Our Company also has a longstanding commitment to our neighbors and communities in the Columbia Basin, to promoting the quality of our local environment, and to ensuring that Hanford is a safe place to work.
Headquartered in Richland, Washington, Dade Moeller & Associates has been performing work at Hanford for DOE and its contractors since its incorporation in 1994. We look forward to helping MSA and DOE advance and improve on the progress already made in addressing the Nation's most challenging Cold War legacy.
